Began Taekwondo in Jan. 1991.  Began teaching in Sept 1999 and started The Taekwondo Center. Earned 6th Dan in December 2020.Â
Jacquelyn Jordan Aubuchon – 4th Dan
I started studying Tae Kwon Do in 1996 under Grandmaster Soon U Kim at the Maryland Heights location of S.U.Kim United Martial Arts. I recieved my kukkiwon’s (1st dan in 1998) and (2nd dan in 2001) from The World Martial Arts Federation led by Grandmaster Il Kwon Kim. I primarily studied under Master Brad Chapman and Linda Thompson Milburn.
I actively participated in seminars covering Korean Tai Chi, kickboxing, and other specialty clinics. In 2001 The World Martial Arts Federation awarded me with a letter of appreciation for my work in promoting Tae Kwon Do. Sword was my specialty, bo staff and knife were the other two weapons I focused on most.
Jackie earned her 4th Dan November 2021.
Ashley Martin – 4th Dan
I grew up in a few different places, but spent the longest time in Vienna, Austria. I played soccer for 10 years before getting into the martial arts in college. I studied Okinawan Gojo (Karate) with the Sho-Rei-Shobu-Kan school in Columbia, Missouri for 6 years achieving my 1st Dan, while studying for my undergrad and graduate degees at Mizzou. I began training with the Tae Kwon Do Center about 3 years ago and even this karate girl is learning how to kick! I'm also a German and Art teacher in addition to assisting Mr. Ivester with his TKD classes at the YMCA.
Ashley earned her 3rd Dan September 2021.
Joe Switzer-4th Dan
 I began my studies in martial arts in 1998 at Indiana University. I started training in Hapkido and shortly moved into training in Taekwondo, as well. I earned my 1st Dan in Taekwondo in 2001 under Master Don Burns. From 2001 to 2013, I trained in several different Taekwondo schools in Indiana, Colorado, and Missouri.
 I have trained and taught with The Taekwondo Center since 2012, earning my 2nd (2014), 3rd (2017), and 4th (2022) Degree Black Belt ranks under Master Ivester. My primary instruction is with the adult Taekwondo class, but I enjoy working with all of our other students in several different classes and filling in as an instructor for the Kickboxing class. I am currently a Class B Official for AAU Taekwondo.
Ellen Craven – 2nd Dan
Aidan Switzer – 2nd Dan
I began my training in Taekwondo with The Taekwondo Center when I was 6 years old (2015). I earned my 1st Dan in 2022, and my 2nd Dan in 2024. I have been teaching for 3 years (2022) in various classes and enjoy working with all of them. I have 8 years of experience in Olympic Sparring where I have medaled 16 times in over a dozen tournaments. I teach a sparring class once a month on Fridays. I am also a very experienced official as I have officiated at multiple AAU Regionals and 1 AAU Nationals. At AAU Nationals I won the award for the 2025 best Up and Coming Official.
